In Loving Memory of Brandy.
The Greatest Dog Who Ever Was.
We recently had to put down our beloved Brandy. She was around 14 years old and truly, one of the most loving dogs I have ever know. She was with Kelly and I from the first year of our marraige. She was there through it all. Thick and Thin. She had two hip surgeries and ended up with cancer. I will always remember our trips to the lakes and parks of Georgia and Ohio. She was great to cuddle with and always calmed me down when I was nervous or upset by petting her.
She will be truly missed.

Updates: Sam had his birthday bash this weekend. By all accounts it was a success. There ended up being 12 kids - 6 were neighbors/friends 5 cousins and 1 classmate. We had fun games. A scavenger/treasure hunt at the park, where gold coins were involved. Not real gold of course, but just as fun. The bonus question was how many days old is Sam. Yes days. Factoring in two leap years and the fact that his birthday was actually Sunday, not the Saturday that his party was on he was a total of 2,192. That's 365 x 6, plus two for two leap years and minus one for it not being his birthday. No one got it right.
Upon returning from the scavenger hunt everyone, especially Sam was jumping with glee at the brand new mega bouncer that was inflated in the basement. After rules were laid down the fun began. Amazingly, no one was hurt.
And don't forget about the cake!
